A taxidermy Giant white throated kingfisher mounted by the celebrated Victorian taxidermists James Gardner of Oxford Street, London. James Gardner had several London branches and supplied taxidermy to Queen Victoria. This case was produced probably in around the 1880s and is in very nice condition. Trade label verso.
