Taxidermy Himalayan Monal attributed to Henry Shaw
Latin: Lophophorus impejanus
Size: 60cm x 25cm x 25cm
Description: The Himalayan Monal is one of the most decorative of all birds and this Victorian taxidermy specimen shows the species in perfect condition. Although unlabelled, this example is very much in the style of Henry Shaw, the celebrated nineteenth century taxidermist who operated out of Shrewsbury.
